Special POTA Announcement – Save the Date – 12 April 2025 The Club will participate in the Texas State Parks on the Air (Tx POTA) event on 12 April at Lake Whitney State Park.
We have reserved an “enclosed clubhouse” at Lake Whitney State Park for the event. The “clubhouse” is temperature controlled so we all can be comfortable. The event will start at 8:00am, but you can come whenever you can get there. We will have multiple radios set up for use on various bands. Come enjoy the day at the park.
We will have food and refreshments for all to enjoy. The daily park entry fee is $5.00 For those of you campers, several members have booked camp sites for that weekend. If interested, you can go to the Lake Whitney State Park website to reserve a campsite. There were not many left as of a few days ago
Plan to come and participate in the club activity. Enjoy the park, fun and friendship….and some radio time also.
