Lion Pride Bike Ride |

The Ellis County Amateur Radio Club
recently provided communication support for the Ennis High
School's inaugural FFA fundraiser bike rally. The event
attracted a respectable number of riders and was very well
planned out and executed. Pictured above are the FFA volunteers
and a few of the club volunteers. Participation by the club was
excellent and both sides are looking forward to a bigger and
better event next year! |

Ellis County Amateur Radio Club
T-Shirts: ECARC t-shirts are available for purchase at the
monthly Planning Committee meetings and monthly regular club
meetings. Price is $15. |

TEXAS QSO PARTY: The ECARC
will participate in the Texas QSO Party the weekend of September
27-28. Location will be
770 Bryson Lane, Midlothian TX. Operating times will be
9:00am - 9:00pm on Saturday and 9:00am - 3:00pm on Sunday.
Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided for lunch-dinner

ECARC VE Team:
The
ECARC VE Team conducts monthly testing sessions on the
4th Thursday of the month. If you are interested in testing
to obtain a license, or to upgrade your license, please
contact a member of the VE Team at least a week in advance
of the testing session.

Monthly Planning Meeting: Meets every second Wednesday
of the month for dinner at 7:00 PM. The meeting is held at a
local restaurant and the location will be publicized prior
to the meeting. Talk-in will be on 145.410. For more
